The architecture firm, Perkins & Will, justed purchased an office building one block away from their current location in Midtown Atlanta. Perkins & Will purchased the office building located at 1315 Peachtree Street for $150.00 per Square Foot or roughly 6.8 Million Dollars. The architecture firm will invest a good amount of its own money into the interior of the building, and will also be seeking to obtain Platinum LEED Certification. The sale was more complex then most building purchases because 1315 Peachtree has a ground lease with the City of Atlanta. Therefore, Perkins & Will is only purchasing the building and not the land.
